| Abstract | Performing the scoping of IoT systems is recognized as a challenging task, and it becomes harder when must be addressed at pre-contract time. The literature reports both the use of regular elicitation techniques to deal with this activity, and their low cost-effectiveness in determining the product scope when these techniques are used. Trying to deal with that limitation, this paper presents a digital collaborative canvas that allows stakeholders and providers to build, validate, and agree on the scope of IoT systems, at the pre-contract time of development and evolution projects. It was preliminary evaluated by three experts in the design of IoT systems; the obtained results, although still preliminary, are highly encouraging. |
